I'm Wendy Zhang. PhD in Food Science. MBA. A decade in R&D, consulting, and corporate strategy at large CPG companies.

I left to build SESA because black sesame — the ingredient my culture has relied on for nourishment and longevity for generations — was almost nowhere in modern Western wellness. I used it myself. I knew the science behind it. And I couldn't find a single product that did it justice.
